End User License Agreement

End User License Agreement (EULA) Last Updated: October 30, 2025 This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User” or “Licensee”) and Front Street Software LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your use of the Typewriter software product, including the Typewriter website (https://trytypewriter.com/) and the Typewriter desktop application (collectively, the “Software”). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software. ⸻ 1. License Grant Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Front Street Software LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Software solely for its intended purpose—AI-powered screenwriting—for your personal or internal business use. ⸻ 2. Ownership and Intellectual Property The Software and all associated content, code, algorithms, user interfaces, text, graphics, and documentation are the exclusive property of Front Street Software LLC and its licensors. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You acknowledge that the Software is licensed, not sold. You acquire no ownership rights in the Software or any part thereof. ⸻ 3. Restrictions You agree not to: • Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software. • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code or underlying algorithms. • Distribute, rent, lease, sublicense, sell, or otherwise transfer the Software or any portion thereof. • Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, trademarks, or labels on the Software. • Use the Software for any commercial, competitive, or unlawful purpose. • Use any portion of the Software or its components, except as expressly authorized in this Agreement. Certain third-party open-source components may be used within the Software and are governed by their own respective licenses, as listed in the Third-Party Acknowledgments document. ⸻ 4. User Data We collect and process personal information such as your name, email, payment information, and screenplay data to provide and improve our services. Non-personal data, such as cookies, may also be collected to enhance user experience. Data is shared only with third-party payment processors (for payment processing) and third-party AI providers (to enable AI features). For more details, please review our Privacy Policy. ⸻ 5. Updates and Maintenance Front Street Software LLC may, from time to time, provide updates or patches to improve or enhance the Software. Such updates are subject to this Agreement. We are not obligated to provide any maintenance or support unless otherwise agreed in writing. ⸻ 6. Termination This Agreement is effective until terminated. Front Street Software LLC may terminate this Agreement at any time without notice if you breach any term herein. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession. ⸻ 7. Disclaimer of Warranties THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. ⸻ 8. Limitation of Liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRONT STREET SOFTWARE LLC, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. ⸻ 9. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. ⸻ 10. Updates to This Agreement We may update this Agreement from time to time. When we do, we will notify you by email.
